/remove

Remove Command

Overview

The /remove command revokes a specified user or role’s access to the current ticket channel.

Usage

/remove [user:@user] [role:@role]
  • user (optional user mention): The user to remove.

  • role (optional role mention): The role to remove.

(Similar to /add, you can remove either a user or a role—Or you may also provide both)

Description

  • Remove Access: Removes a participant or role from the ticket channel so they can no longer view or respond to it.

  • Privacy: Ensures only relevant members remain in the conversation if participants no longer need access.

When to Use It

  • If the ticket no longer requires input from a certain user or role.

  • When a user’s access was mistakenly granted.

Permissions

  • Usually staff or the original ticket creator (if configured) can remove participants.

  • Bot needs Manage Channels to update channel permissions.

Examples

/remove user:@JohnDoe

Removes John Doe’s access.

/remove role:@SeniorSupport

Removes the “SeniorSupport” role from the ticket.
